In 1997, Bala Mandir Research Foundation (BMRF) entered into an international partnership with The Hincks-Dellcrest Centre, Canada, to extend the latter’s ‘Learning Through Play’ programme into India.

BMRF has hosted a series of ‘Learning Through Play’ conferences, which have grown in stature over the years, in line with the growing outreach of the programme, across India and the region.

Since 2011, BMRF’s core focus has been on early childhood care and development. BMRF continues to organise seminars, workshops, and conferences on ECCD, to share and enhance knowledge and understanding on ECCD policies, programmes, and practices, and strengthen the advocacy for holistic and inclusive ECCD.
